Reiki is a form of energy healing which allows
the healer to tap into Universal Energy to bring about a
gentle shift in energies, allowing the body to heal itself.
When the body is relaxed, it can achieve homeostasis,
or balance. The energy from the Reiki practitioner is
directed to flow in and around the body of the client,
helping the chakras and energetic body to become
re-energized and aligned once more, clearing away blockages
so that healing can occur.
The subtle flow of Reiki is present while I work on a
client's feet. Clients frequently observe that my hands are
very warm, or say that I have "healing hands" This
is Reiki
energy. It aids in the dispersal of energy blockages so that
the body can heal itself. When there emotional issues to be
resolved, Reiki is applied at the end of the session to
bring about the necessary healing to the chakras, or energy
centers of the body.
Yes, I am a Reiki Master Teacher and am trained in the
Usui Reiki Tradition. Classes are held as requested in all
three levels levels of Reiki.
No, and it will not interfere with any allopathic
medicine (prescription medication). Clients frequently
report feeling very relaxed and calm, and most often
often report that they sleep really well.
The most common misconception is that Reiki is a type
of massage. It is a non-invasive treatment in which you
remain fully clothed, and in most cases there is a very
light touch that can be felt, and a warm sensation from the
practitioner's hands as the energy flows through her to the
client. A sense of deep peace and relaxation results from
this form of treatment. It is a great way to relieve
emotional upsets and stress, helping to center and balance
the client.
